Doris Champagne, 80, of Candia, died December 8, 2012 at Maple Leaf Health Care following a long illness.
She was born in Manchester on March 14, 1932 to Phillip and Lena (Dumas) Proulx. She was a lifelong resident of Candia.
She worked at K-Mart in Hooksett for over 20 years.
Doris enjoyed playing bingo, doing puzzles, and playing cards with her friends. Above all she loved spending time with her family.
Family members include, a daughter, Susan Perry and her husband, Arthur, of Canterbury; three sons, Ronald Champagne, Richard Champagne and his wife, Mary, and Rene Champagne all of Candia; four grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Brian and Bradley; six great-grandchildren and a brother, Maurice Proulx of Manchester.
She was predeceased by her husband Emery Champagne in 1973, a granddaughter, Rebecca and by her sister, Pauline Lallier
A Mass of Christian Burial took place on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
