Funeral services for Larry Mashburn, 53, of Rebecca, GA will be held Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 3:30 P.M. at the Amboy Baptist Church with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Rebecca. Mr. Mashburn died Friday at Crisp Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Mr. Mashburn was born in Fitzgerald, GA, the son of Charles Melvin and Annette Adams Mashburn. He was a Medical Technologist at Irwin County Hospital. He was a member of the Amboy Baptist Church where he served as choir director for several years.
Mr. Mashburn is survived by one son, Mitchell Mashburn, and one daughter, Lauren Rebecca Mashburn, both of Tifton, GA. Also surviving are his parents, Melvin and Annette Adams Mashburn, Rebecca, GA and his sister, Teresa (Keefe) M. Biggers, Fitzgerald, GA.
The family will receive friends Sunday, from 1:30-3:00 P.M. at the Amboy Baptist Church.
