Robert M. Brock

Robert M. Brock, 98, died December 5, 2012 at his residence in Anderson, following an extended illness.
He was born February 9, 1914 in Mercer, OH the son of Lloyd and Florence (Gales) Brock. He graduated Celina High School in 1932 & attended St. Claire College for drafting.
He worked 20 years at Aero Products in Vandalia, OH as an aircraft welder & moved to Indianapolis in 1962 to work for Detroit Diesel, Allison Division of General Motors and later became a supervisor. He retired in 1974 with 32 years of service. He moved to Anderson in 1977.
He married Luella E. Apple on September 22, 1936, and she preceded him in death in 2006. He was a member of East Side Church of God and enjoyed Bible Study and other groups within the church.
Survivors include his daughter, Sheryl ( husband Thomas) Hawsey of Anderson, 3 Grandchildren: Lori (Mark) Lubs of Anderson, Robin (Ricky) Cummings of Indianapolis, and Christopher (Megan) Hawsey of Greenfield, 7 great grandchildren; Dustin Lubs; Austen Cummings; Jaksen Cummings; Raegan Cummings; Abby Phillips; Casey Phillips; Hannah Hawsey; several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his wife, Luella and 3 Brothers, Kenneth, John, and Paul.
Service will be Saturday, December 8 at 2:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. James Rose officiating.
The visitation will be Saturday from Noon until the service at funeral home.
Monday, December 10, services will be held at 11:00 AM at Snyder Road Church of God in Piqua, Ohio. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Piqua, OH with Jamieson Yannucci Funeral Home handling the services in Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
