Marvin Ray Sullivan, 66, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Monday, December 3, 2012, at his residence.
Memorial services will held at a later date.
Mr. Sullivan was born September 28, 1946 in Washington, Indiana to Betty Jo Raney Sullivan and the late William Sullivan. He was a 1964 graduate of Washington High School. He was a retired Locomotive Engineer for CSX Railroad. Living in Fitzgerald for more than 27 years, he was a former Drill Sergeant with the United States Army during the Vietman War and was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cindy Sullivan of Fitzgerald; children: Marvin Sullivan, Jr. of Dallas, TX, Nicole Renee Sullivan of Panama City, FL, Andrea Lynn Gray of Bismark, ND and Crystal Dawn Shealey of Washington, IN; 9 grandchildren; mother: Betty Jo Sullivan of Washington, IN; brother and sister-in-law: Larry & Judy Sullivan of Washington, IN. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a son: Parrish Sullivan.
