WEBSTER – Stephanie M. (Majka) Braczyk, age 87, formerly of 20 Cody Street, died Tuesday, June 22, in Hubbard Regional Hospital. Her husband, Alphonse A. Braczyk, died in 1988.
She leaves a son, Paul J. Braczyk of Webster; a daughter, Ann Livingston of Concord, NH; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
She was born in Webster, daughter of Stanley and Bernice (Zylka) Majka. She was an upholsterer with Ethan Allen for many years. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica. She was an avid reader and loved to cook for her family.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 24, from the Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 Thursday morning at the funeral home.
