WORCESTER-Mildred T. (McCormick) Harmon, 50, of 297 Pleasant Street died suddenly Saturday, June 19th after being stricken ill at home. She leaves a son Robert L. Thayer with whom she lived, 3 daughters Sheena M. Harmon and Crystal G. Harmon with whom she lived, Annemarie Doucimo of Worcester, her mother Matilda L. (Royland) McCormick of Danielson, CT, 8 brothers and 4 sisters, 3 grandsons Brandon Thayer, Zachary and Pasquale Doucimo all of Worcester, many nephews and nieces. She also leaves her long time companion Jose Castro with whom she lived and former husband Jeffrey A. Harmon of Spencer. A daughter predeceased her.
She was born in Gardner, her father was Robert J. McCormick, Sr. Mrs. Harmon had been a long time volunteer at the Mustard Seed, Inc. for many years and had at one time been a nurses aide.
The funeral is Friday, June 25th at 11:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, June 24th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
