…Malden Carpenter; 52
TEWKSBURY - Anthony C, Parla, age 52, a well known and amiable Malden carpenter, died Sunday, December 2nd, at his Wilmington apartment after a courageous four year battle with Leukemia. Throughout his years of treatments he remained optimistic, brave, even sometimes gallant, and uncomplaining.

He was a self-employed carpenter, and held membership in the Malden Eagles Club, and the Malden East Side Club.
He was an expert skier, who had skied most of the New England peaks, and loved dogs. His family described him as well respected and well liked, willing to lend a hand to family or friends, generous in nature and spirit, and part of a larger loving family.

Parla-Aziz of Tewksbury; paternal grandmother, Ruth (Brown) Parla of Jamaica Plain; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins in both the greater Durham, England, the greater Boston, and Virginia areas.
