Ida Louise Porter, age 84, of Douglas, GA passed away on Friday, November 30, at Coffee Regional Medical Center from injuries received in an automobile accident. Mrs. Porter was born May 22, 1928 in Hinesville, GA to Anna Gurturge Ray Spivey and the late Joseph Carlis Spivey.
Survivors include: Her Mother: Anna Gurtruge Spivey: One daughter: Shirlene Guzman of Douglas, GA.: 2 Sons: Danny Clifford (Linda) Porter, Sr of Douglas, GA and Joseph Griffin (Betty) Porter, Sr of Douglas, GA. Twelve Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren; Several Great Great Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews; She was preceded in death by her husband: Clinton Griffin Porter;
a daughter: Cecila Ann Porter Wilson; 2 sons: Clyde Lamar Porter and Clinton Butch Porter.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 5 to 9 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 2, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Corner Stone Church of God of Prophesy, Hwy 32 East, Douglas, Ga.Interment will be at Douglas City Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
