WORCESTER – Mrs. Patricia (Ravelli) Barry – Mooney, 75, passed away Wednesday November 28th surrounded by her loving family.
Pat is survived by, two sons, Paul F. Barry Jr. and his wife Sarah of Worcester, Anthony R. Barry and his wife Sharon of Grafton; two daughters, Theresa M. Rogacz and her husband Charles of Worcester, Lisa Masciarelli and her husband Nick of Northborough; a sister, Nancy B. Ravelli of Worcester; her former husband, Paul F. Barry Sr. of Worcester; eleven grandchildren, one great granddaughter; her nephews, John and Richard Linga; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her husband James Mooney , her brother, Michael Ravelli, and her sister, Marion F. Linga.
A lifelong resident, Pat was born November 27, 1937 in Worcester, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Calcagni) Ravelli.
Pat worked for thirty-two years for the City of Worcester School Nutrition Department retiring as a supervisor in 2002. She worked also for the Friendly House, Spags, New England Telephone, and St Vincent Hospital.
Pat was very involved in the community serving as past vice president and manager for Jack Barry Little League, Girls Scouts of America, past president of Union Hill mothers club, past secretary of Labor Advisory Council of United Way, first women recipient of the community service award from AFL-CIO, past president of N.A.G.E. cafeteria employees, local 16, and secretary of Federation of State, City, and Town Employees.
Pat was very involved with her community, but she loved and cherished her family and her many friends.
Her funeral will be held Monday December 3rd from FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St. Worcester with a Funeral Mass at St Peter’s Church of Worcester at 10:00am. Burial will be in St John’s Cemetery.
