Fall River – Josephine (Sekonda) Perry, 91, formerly of American Legion Highway, Westport died Sunday, June 20, 2004 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of John E. Perry.
She was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Casmir and Elizabeth (Zasprzyk) Sekonda, and was a lifelong resident of Westport. Mrs. Perry worked as a cashier at Lincoln Park in Dartmouth for over 30 years until her retirement in 1975. She enjoyed poetry, music especially Lawrence Welk and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a son: John E. Perry, Jr. of Westport; 3 daughters: Elizabeth R. Borden of Chelmsford, MA, Marion J. Macomber of Westport and Mary Ellen Perry of Cambridge, MA; 4 sisters: Betty Merrithew, Lillian Sekonda, Amelia Sellers and Dorothy Vincent; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Stanley Sekonda, John Sekonda, Walter Sekonda, Mary Burke and Cecialia Mosher.
Funeral services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the POTTER FUNERAL HOME, 81 Reed Rd., Westport.

Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport.
