Funeral services for Alice Nix Brock, 82, of Ashburn will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Brock died Wednesday at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Brock was born in Turner County, Georgia, the daughter of the late T.H. and Annie Watson Nix Wiggins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dakota Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Brock, her daughter, Donna Jean Pritchett Black and her sister, Evelyn Wright.
She is survived by her daughter Sue (Rick) Davis, Ashburn, GA, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, Charles Wiggins and Bobby Wiggins, both of Ashburn, GA; her sisters, Christine Cleghorn, Gray, GA, and Inez Coleman, Canton, GA.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday at Perry Funeral Chapel.
