Helen E. (Rheaume) Catineau, age 88 of Salem, NH, died Monday at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
She was born in Haverhill, MA, where she grew up and was educated. She was a resident of Salem for the past 9 years, formerly of Lawrence, MA.
Helen was a homemaker. She had previously worked for Western Electric. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish St. Theresa’s Church, Methuen, MA. She was very devoted to the Blessed Mother and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and crossword puzzles. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 30 at 11AM at Our Lady of Good Council Parish St. Theresa’s Church, Methuen, MA. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Mausoleum, Lawrence, MA. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
