Picanzo of Brockton June 19, 2004 Mary C. (Coccimiglio) Picanzo 78 years. Loving wife of John M. Picanzo. Mother of Joan M. and Sandra J. Picanzo both of Brockton and James M. Picanzo of West Bridgewater. Grandmother of John, Michael and Jenna Picanzo and great grandmother of Angela Picanzo. Sister of Louis Coccimiglio of Milton, Louise Loporto of Santa Monica, CA and Rose Bonanno of Hull.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 pm.

Obituary

Mrs. Picanzo died Saturday evening at the Brockton Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Calabria, Italy a daughter of the late Joseph and Teresa (Lupica) Coccimiglio. At the age of ten she came to the United States, settling with her family in Brockton where she grew up and remained a resident.

At one time she had worked at Piccento Sportswear in Brockton and she was primarily a homemaker in her own home. She loved to play bingo at East Side Improvement and Temple Beth Emunah.

In addition to her husband of 58 years John M. Picanzo she is survived by 2 daughters and a son Joan M. and Sandra J. Picanzo both of Brockton and James M. Picanzo of West Bridgewater. She was the grandmother of John, Michael and Jenna Picanzo and great grandmother of Angela Picanzo. Sister of Louis Coccimiglio of Milton, Louise Loporto of Santa Monica, CA and Rose Bonanno of Hull. She also leaves many nieces and nephews
