Mary I. (Santore) Campolini, 84, of Methuen, died peacefully Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover.
Mary, daughter of the late Ralph and Anna (Schiavone) Santore, was born in Lawrence on December 8, 1927. For many years, Mrs. Campolini worked in the electronics industry and then later worked at Polo Clothing Co. in Lawrence until her retirement. She is fondly remembered by her family as a great cook who enjoyed the company of friends and the time spent with her grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Thomas Campolini; four children, Ernest Campolini and his wife Linda of Seabrook, NH, Beverly Poulin and her husband Lee of Atkinson ,NH, Ann Camuso and her husband Howard, Jr. of Methuen and Thomas Campolini, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Methuen; grandchildren, Timothy, Laurey, J., Randy, Matthew, Casey and Michael; great grandchildren, Cash, Chayse, Chaunda and Nilan and several nephews and nieces.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Mary's life by gathering for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lucy's Church, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence. Friends will be warmly received at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen on Wednesday, from 4-8 PM.
