Obituary

Danvers: Ann M. (Angie Lotti) Bouchard, 87 died Saturday, November 24 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Roland W. ‘Bill’ Bouchard.

She was born and raised in Swampscott, daughter of the late Theodore and Antonette (D’Andrea) Lotti. She is survived by her loving brother Domenic ‘Tom’ Lotti of Sewanee, TN. She was also the sister of the late Edward Lotti, Nancy Dillon, and Anthony Lotti. Ann graduated from Swampscott High School, Class of 1943.

She is also survived by her three children, Karen M. and her husband John Parrelli of Beverly, her son Richard and his wife Ellen of Danvers, and her daughter Pattee A. and her fiancé Paul D. Walsh of Danvers and New Hampshire. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Angela E. Bouchard. Surviving her are five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and three great-grandchildren.

Ann was a successful businesswoman and the owner of ActivAnn Real Estate in Danvers for over 30 years. Her many proud accomplishments include President of the Greater Salem Board of Realtors, selected ‘Realtor of the Year’ in 1972, a Corporator of Salem Five, a member of Zonta International, and was selected for the 8th edition of Who’s Who of American Women. In 1971, she was elected the first woman Selectman in the Town of Danvers, served on the Finance Committee for over 12 years, and was President of the Danvers Chamber of Commerce.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 9:45 A.M. at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem to be followed by her funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. in the Discalced Carmelite Monastery Chapel, 15 Mount Carmel Road, Danvers. Visiting hours at the funeral home are on Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
