Travis G. Carver, 58, of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Fitzgerald Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Burnette officiating. Interment will follow in the Irwinville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Carver was born June 18, 1954 in Cleveland, Tennessee to the late Hoyt C. and Robbie Osborne Carver. He lived in the community for the past seven years moving from Atlanta. He was a self-employed landscape designer having designed projects for the State of Georgia and the Governor’s Mansion. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by a son: Michael Carver of Stockbridge; granddaughters: Kayla Carver and Chloe Carver, both of Stockbridge; brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry & Peggy Carver, Randall Carver & Barbara Coyle, all of Fitzgerald; sister and brother-in-law, Maxine & Donnie Burnette of Dublin as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Wendell, Don, Tony, and Eddie Carver.
