Emily Jane (Dean) O’Brien, of Plymouth formerly of Norwood, died at home on November 24th at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. O’Brien and is survived by her son Jim O’Brien and his wife Sandy of Plymouth and she was also the surrogate mother to Leo Foley and Barbara Bates, both of Medford. She also leaves her cherished granddaughters Kimberly and Rachel, her sister Frances Piercey and her brother Edward Dean both of Newfoundland, Canada. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 27th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 28th at St. Bonaventure’s Church at 10 AM followed by burial at St. John’s Cemetery in Middletown, CT.
