Visiting Hours will be held in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Sunday 5-7pm. Burial will be at a later date in Central Cemetery, Randolph. John M. Rideout, Jr. died Wednesday evening at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center after a lenthy battle with Cancer. He was born and raised in Somerville, son of the late John M. and Margaret (Lambert) Rideout Sr. He had been employed by Philip Brothers in Holbrook for 32 years and Polar Beverages in Avon for 6 years until his illness. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed dog races at Raynham Dog Track.
He is survived by four sons, John M. Rideout, III, Gerald D. Rideout, Robert L. Rideout and James M. Rideout, all of Brockton, three brothers Jerry Rideout and Ronald Rideout both of Brockton, Donald Rideout of Whitman and one sister Kimberly Keller of Stoughton.
