Louis Silva, 89, of Salem, NH died Thursday, November 22nd at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
Louis was born and educated in Arlington, MA the son of the late Mary and Guy Silva. He served in the US Navy for 20 years, during both WW II and the Korean War. He retired from Boston and Maine Railroad. Louis enjoyed playing golf and watching football.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Asaro) Silva of Salem, NH;
his daughter, Diane Hutchings of McKinney, TX;
his son, John Silva of NH
his sister, Ann Viola of Watertown, MA
3 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and several nieces and nephews
Calling hours will be Monday from 4-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10AM at St. Matthew Parish in Windham, NH. Friends and family are invited to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester, MA.
