Millbury- Eva I. Lund Demers, 39, of North Highlands, California, formerly of Millbury and Worcester, died Tuesday, June 8.
She leaves her parents, Donald R. and Ellen C. (Lambert) Lund of Millbury; four brothers, William L. Lund of Worcester, John A. Lund of Douglas, Donald S. Lund of Millbury, and Alfred R. Lund of Douglas; three sisters, Christine M. Lund of Worcester, Karen M. Miller of Sarasota, FL, and JulieAnne M. Lund of Millbury; her former husband, Thomas Dzaugis of Worcester; nephews and nieces; her dog, Cheri; and many dear friends. She was born in Worcester and graduated from Millbury High School and Quinsigamond Community College.
She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at several area nursing homes, before moving to California.Eva was a U.S. Army veteran.
She enjoyed riding her Harley-Davidson and participating in bike runs.
The funeral will be held Monday, June 21, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be private. Calling hours are from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 20, in the funeral home.
