The beloved husband of Constance K. (Keane), father of Paula A. Burdick of Walpole, NH, David F. Burns of Portland, ME, Alicia K. Burns of Napierville, IL, Melissa J. Burns of Cambridge and the late Regina E. Burns. Brother of Virginia M. Burns of Cambridge. Also survived by 8 grandchildren.

Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, No. Quincy at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
Member Wollaston Golf Club, McKeon Post American Legion and Quincy YMCA. Received his Masters from Boston Teachers College.
