New Bedford – James M. Martin, age 46, died Friday, November 16, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital after bravely fighting a long illness. Mr. Martin was born in Gardner, Ma, son to Roseanna (Dupre) Nelson and Gerald Martin both of Massachusetts. He was survived by 3 siblings: Wayne Martin, husband of Becky, from Philipston, Ma; Melissa Martin of Winchendon, Ma and Michael LaRoche of Lunenburg, Ma. Mr. Martin also had 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
James worked as a cook for many years.
