WAREHAM – James J. Babula, husband of Constance “Connie” (McCarthy) Babula, died at his Wareham home on Nov. 10, 2012.
He was 72.
Born, raised and educated in Wilkes-Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Walter and Mary (Wajdowicz) Babula.
Mr. Babula was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War.
For many years he was employed as an industrial plumber with the Tecnik Company of Rhode Island.
Besides his wife, he leaves s daughter, Joyce Murteira and her husband Paul of Wareham; a stepdaughter, Jeanne McCarthy of Wareham; two sisters, Catherine Allabaugh and Theresa Stalnik both of PA; two grandsons, Alexander and Anthony Murteira; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Victor Wajdowicz and Walter Babula, Jr.
Private graveside services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
Arrangements are by the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton.
