Eugene F. Solimene, 65 of Somerville, died Monday in the Cambridge Hospital, Cambridge, MA.
Born in Cambridge, he was a longtime resident of Somerville. Eugene enjoyed art and music, especially “Bob Dylan”. He also played in local bands and enjoyed his friends.
Cherished son of Eugene Solimene of Medford and the late Ruth (Belbin) Solimene. Longtime companion of Cathy Mullane. Devoted brother of Stephen R. Solimene and his wife Maria of Arlington, Carol Ann Ortiz and her husband Artie of Malden, and the late Paul M. Solimene and Janet R. Downing. Loving uncle of Jennifer Burke, Deborah Solimene, A.J. and Ashleigh Ortiz, Kerriann, Erin, Paul and Ryan Downing. Loving great uncle of Baylor Grace Burke.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8 pm.
Services will conclude with burial at Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge.
