Carolyn Mae (Gillis) Daly, age 67, of Sherborn, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012. She was the cherished wife of the late William “Bill” Daly with whom she devotedly shared forty years of marriage.
Raised in Littleton, MA, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Malcolm J. and Marion G. (Norton) Gillis. Carolyn, Boston Univ.-Class of 1966, was known for her kindness, charm, loyalty, elegance and impeccable taste. She loved gardening, her dogs Griffin and Harry and spending time with her family and friends.
Carolyn is survived by her three loving children, Lauren Grinberg and her husband Ishay of Natick, Alex Daly of Essex Junction, VT, and Elizabeth Daly of Brooklyn, NY. She was the cherished "Grammy" of Lily and David, and the dear sister of the late William S. and Malcolm J. Gillis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 16th at Pilgrim Church, 25 S. Main St., Sherborn, at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours will be held from 4 – 7 PM on Thursday at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) Natick.
