Obituary

Fremont - Bernard L. Boutin II, died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Bernard was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on September 30, 1967 and lived in Fremont, New Hampshire with his loving wife, Gay Eloise Stern Boutin, and his son, Ryan Alexander Boutin.

Boutin was a lifelong resident of the Granite State and graduated from Portsmouth High School. He also attended Saint Michael’s College and graduated from New Hampshire Vocational Technical College. Boutin began his career by working his way through New Hampshire Tech at UPS. He later embarked on a career in the electronic communications field. Boutin will be remembered for his quick wit, incredible sense of humor, and infectious laugh; his unceasing love for Gay and Ryan (his “Buddy”); his generosity and warmth; his sense of goodness and love of life; as well as his love of sports, especially the Red Sox and Patriots.

Boutin’s family include his wife, Gay, and son, Ryan; his parents, Bernard L. Boutin (deceased) and Alice M. Boutin, five brothers; Edmund J. Boutin and his wife Linda Anne of Chester, NH, Joseph L. Boutin and his wife Dale of Burlington, VT, Louis B. Boutin and his wife Carole of Bedford, NH, John P. Boutin of Winooski, VT and Paul R. Boutin and his wife Judy of Colchester, VT, five sisters; Bernadette A. Fischer and her husband Bruce of Hancock, Maine, Michelle B. Lamper and her husband Dennis of Meredith, NH, Marie J. Boutin of South Burlington, VT, Elizabeth B. McGrath and her husband John of Manchester, VT and Suzanne T. Boutin of Rochester, NH, Gay’s parents, Gus H. Stern and Jane G. Stern (deceased); Gay’s siblings, Bonny Jane (deceased), Patty Hulderman, Nancy and Gary Lister, Cristy and John Zdenek, Holly and Henry Becker, and Gus Z. Stern, many nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 12 Noon at St. Andre Bessette Parish – Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, N.H. Burial will follow in the family lot as Sacred Heart Cemetery in Laconia, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, Suite 104, Manchester, NH 03101.
