Evelyn E. (Potuchek) Alberg of Westport, MA, formerly of Pawtucket, RI died at her home on Wednesday November 7, 2012. She was 87.
Mrs. Alberg was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Christopher and Evelyn (Proulx) Potuchek. She was predeceased by her loving husband, of 65 years, Carl Heinz and her sister Lilian Bejma.
Survived by her sons: Carl K. and Alan W. of Westport, her grandson Christopher, his wife Nina, and her great grandsons Erich and Scott of Westwood, MA. She also leaves her granddaughters: Jessica and Valerie Alberg, and two sisters: Dorothy Gifford and Shirley Dauray, all of Westport and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. and Mrs. Alberg relocated to Westport in 1971.
She loved the water and particularly enjoyed fishing and quahogging on the Westport River, and swimming at East Beach. She was an avid card player and along with her husband often hosted card nights with their many friends and neighbors. She loved cooking and always enjoyed having company around the house.

A funeral service will be held at Westport Point United Methodist Church, 1912 Main Road Westport, MA 02791 on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 10:00 A.M.
Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
