Obituary

SPENCER: Pauline E. (St. Pierre) Doucette, 62, of 3 Jones St., died Thursday, Nov. 8 at her home following a brief illness.

She leaves her husband of 42 years, Leo F. Doucette, her son Kirk J. Doucette, a grandson Cote Doucette all of Spencer, her twin brother Paul St. Pierre of Dorchester, her sister Barbara Knox of Everett, and her adopted daughter Leslie J. of Spencer.

Born in Malden, she was the daughter of Charles and Catherine (Kilgallen) St. Pierre. She graduated from Malden High School and completed a certificate program from Central New England College in Worcester.

Pauline was a senior clerk for the Dept. of Public Health and most recently Dept. of Code & Enforcement for the City of Worcester for the past 12 years. In 2007, she was honored with the “Eleanor Riik Award”, in recognition of excellent customer service. Previous to her employment with the city, she once worked for B’nai Brith and Lazarus Chemical in Worcester. She was a longtime CCD teacher and Master Catechist.

The funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 12 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, No. Brookfield Rd., East Brookfield. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5p.m. in the funeral home.
