Elizabeth Rose "Elsie" (DeBortoli) Doyle, 91, of Fairhaven died November 8, 2012 at Our Lady's Haven.
She was the wife of the late Clinton J. Doyle, Lieutenant, New Bedford Police Department.
Born in Mingus, Texas, the daughter of the late Emilio and Theresa (Castaldo) DeBortoli, she lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Fairhaven in 2007.
Mrs. Doyle was formerly employed at the Wamsutta Mills and Justin Clothing Company.
Survivors include 3 children, Jerilyn Kreps and her husband Robert of Oviedo, FL, Sharyn Kruse and her husband Rex of Bellevue, NE and Clint Doyle and his wife Betty of Fairhaven; a brother, Angelo DeBortoli of New Bedford; 3 grandchildren, Matthew Kruse, Adam Kruse and Taylor Doyle; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Route 6), Mattapoisett Wednesday, November 14th at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church in Fairhaven at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, November 13th from 6-8 PM.
