James Moniz, age 29, died unexpectedly Monday, November 5, at home in New Bedford. He was the beloved son of Tammy (Sipple) and James P. Moniz Sr. Mr. Moniz is survived by his sister Crystal Moniz of New Bedford, grandmother Gilda Rua of Acushnet, 3 aunts; Carol Rego, Susan Ribeiro, Nancy Cabral: and 3 uncles; Shaun Sipple, David Ribeiro, and Steven Cabral. He was also survived by several cousins.
James was born in New Bedford and has lived in this area all of his life. James worked as the General manager at Papa John's Pizza .
James’ visiting hours will be Monday morning from 9:30 – 11:00 A.M. at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. with a service to begin at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Acushnet Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited.
