Barbara Keel Poteete, age 75, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Grenada Living Center in Grenada, MS. She was born in 1937 in Yalobusha County, MS to the late Burrell Zack and Lucille Douglas Keel. Barbara enjoyed cooking and loved her work at Borg-Warner where she retired after many years of service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Water Valley, MS.
A graveside service will be held 4:00 PM Friday, November 9, 2012 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Bobby Poteete of Water Valley, MS; one sister, Linda Doris (D.D.) of Paris, MS; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Blake Poteete of Big Creek, MS.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Stephen Lee Poteete and Bryan Scott Poteete.
