Manuel C. Pavao, age 51 of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2012. He was the former husband of Linda Deschene. Born in Arrifes, São Miguel, Açores, the son of the late Guilherme and Julia (Cabral) Pavao. Prior to retiring, Manuel had worked for the Charles Construction Co. of Watertown, MA and was a member of the Afonso Costa Republican Club and the Border City Club.
Besides his former wife, he is survived by a sister: Maria Luciano of Somerset; 3 brothers: Gilberto & Americo Pavao, both of Fall River, and Billy Pavao of São Miguel, Açores; several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River SATURDAY here at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
