CHESTER T. SMITH, 83, passed away on November 3, 2012. He was a retired employee of Ky. Metals, Inc., a member of the Teamsters Local 89, and Shively Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Smith, and his son, Michael T. Smith. Survivors include his grandchildren, April Bennett (Eddie), Tonya Hillerich (Joe), and Bobby Weis; great grandchildren, Caiti, McKinsi, Cassidy, Kyle, Maddie, Liam and Kevin; his brother, Raymond Smith (Marilyn); sister, Vera Casey (Ray); and his daughter-in-law, Peggy Smith Weis. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
