Salem, New Hampshire – Dolores (Legare) Baganski, 83 yrs died Sunday November 4, 2012 at Methuen Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her kind and loving family.
Born in Haverhill August 20, 1929 Dolores was the daughter of George H. and Pauline (Laflamme) Legare. She was a graduate of North Andover’s Johnson High School.
For many years Mrs. Baganski was employed as an Electronics Assembler with Wang Laboratories. Prior to her retirement, Dolores was employed at the Internal Revenue Service of Andover.
Mrs. Baganski was involved in the Salem, NH Senior Citizens Center. She loved to exercise through swimming. Also her specialty was cooking Meatloaf. She loved dancing to the music of her son-in-law Jim Koczat’s band “Harvest,” the house band at the Andover Jade. Most of all she was fond of caring for her grandchildren, Danny and Kristen with whom she resided for many years.
Dolores was the widow of Richard Baganski who passed in 1986.
Survivors include a son: Richard D. and his wife Nini Rhodes of Washington State, her daughter: Diane and her husband James Koczat of Salem, NH, sisters: Norma Munroe and husband Allan of Palm Bay, Florida, Priscilla Kanaly and husband David of Florida, Brother: William and wife Deborah Legare of Lawrence, Ma., grandson and granddaughter Daniel and Kristen Koczat of Salem, NH, grandson Stephen Rhodes and his wife Michele, granddaughter Shannon and her husband Christopher Tremblay, as well as grandchildren Ryan Rhodes, Alexis Rhodes, and Bradley Rhodes as well as 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will take place on Friday morning at 9 o’clock from the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen with burial to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, North Andover.
Friends will be warmly received on Thursday from 3 PM – 7 PM at the funeral home.
