WORCESTER - Evelyn G. (Lachapelle) Cote, 88, formerly of 101 Chadwick Street died Thursday February 28 in Intergrated Health Services after an illness.
She leaves her daughter Lyn-Del Wistaris of Worcester and a granddaughter Michelle A. (Wistaris) LaForte of Worcester. Mrs. Cote was born in Leicester daughter of George and Emma (Guerin) Lachapelle.
Mrs. Cote worked as a machinist at Produx Company retiring many years ago and was also a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
The funeral will be held Monday, March 4 at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street Worcester. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society of Central Massachusetts. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
