Eva M. Bernard, 92, of Manchester and formerly of Dover, NH, died June 11, 2004, at Maple Leaf Health Care Center, after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester, July 30, 1911, she was a daughter of Henry Amedee and Alma (Collins) Cote. She lived most of her life in Dover and had been a Manchester resident since 1998.
She was a communicant of St. Therese Church.
Family members include her husband of 70 years, Arthur E. Bernard of Manchester; a son and daughter in-law, Robert R. and Joyce Bernard of Essex Junction, VT; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister, Violet Lula of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
After cremation, a memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday June 15, 2004 at St. Therese Church, Manchester. A reception followed immediately after the mass in the church hall. A committal service was conducted at St. Charles Cemetery, Dover.
