Raymond M. Daniels Sr., 75 of Derry, NH, died Thursday, June 10, 2004 in his home following a long battle with cancer. Mr. Daniels was born in Somerville, MA on July 28, 1928, a son of the late John J. And Angela (Vena) Daniels. He was a resident of Derry since 1982, formerly living in Arizona. Mr. Daniels was a US Army WWII veteran and was a retired Capt. in the US Army Reserves. He was an active member of the NH Bible Society as well as a career counselor with many Christian Ministries. He was President of Birthright of Southern NH. He was a psychologist and clinical counselor and operated the Institute of Behavioral Science.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carol A. (Langenfeld) Daniels of Derry, two sons, Raymond M. Daniels Jr. of Orange, CA, Richard F. Daniels of Penacook, NH, two daughters, Cheryl A. Mershon of Westminster, CA, Donna M. Olson of Orange, CA, 21 grandchildren, one great grandson, and one sister, Joan Fields of Reading, MA.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 16th at 1:00pm in the St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Ave., Derry. The burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 - 8 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
