Ronald A. Brothers, 67, of New York City, NY, formerly of Salem, NH died Fri., Nov. 2nd at his sister’s home in Atkinson, NH following a brief battle with cancer.
Ronald was raised in Salem, NH and graduated from Woodbury High School. He received his undergraduate degree in English from University of. Massachusetts in Amherst and continued his graduate studies at Oxford University in England. He enjoyed a successful career as a creative director in the advertising industry and started his own agency, Brothers & Company, where he served as president. He loved writing, theater, painting and the arts.
He was predeceased by his father Alden E. Brothers.
He is survived by his mother, Ellen M. (Deardon) Brothers of Atkinson, NH;
his siblings, Robert and wife of Carol Centerville, VA., Frederick of Nokomis, FL. Carol O’Brien and husband Richard of Venice, FL., Joan Hills and husband Wilbert of Atkinson, NH., Richard Brothers and Lisa Mulone of Billerica, MA., Former Sister in Law Doreen Brothers of Danville, NH, nieces and nephews: Kimberly, Nicole, Melissa, Timothy, Frederick Jr., Kevin, Eric, & Michael. 11 Great Nieces & Nephews and many many friends.
Memorial visitation will be Wed., Nov. 7th from 5-7PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service will follow at 7PM.
