Vincent A. “Vinny” Cataldo

...retired electrician, Vietnam Era Veteran; 63

TEWKSBURY - Vincent A. “Vinny” Cataldo, 63, a former electrician and Veteran, diedunexpectedly on Friday, June 11, at Saint’s Memorial Medical Center in Lowell after suffering anapparent stroke at his home earlier in the day. He was the husband of Charlotte (Arsenault)Cataldo, with whom he had celebrated a 6th wedding anniversary this past November.

He was born in East Boston the son of Louis Cataldo of Clearwater, Fla., and the late Mary Ann(Angelone) Cataldo.

He was raised in East Boston, and graduated East Boston High School.In the early sixties, he served in the U.S. Army, as a paratrooper.

He was employed as an electrician by Marson’s Company in Chelsea, until illness forced hisretirement.

He was an avid motorcyclist throughout his lifetime.

Besides his wife and father, he is survived by two sons and a daughter, Vincent L. “Vinny”Cataldo, John Cataldo, and Denise Cataldo all of Everett; a step-mother, Augustina ”Gussy”Cataldo of Clearwater, Fla; three grandchildren, Jeannie Marie Cataldo, Domenique Deleon, andVincent Cataldo, and many friends throughout the greater Boston area.

His Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, June 16, in St. William's Church, Tewksbury. Interment with Army Honors was held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
