Richard T. Brazil age 68 of Salem, NH, died Thursday at the Salemhaven Nursing Home, Salem, NH.
He was born in Tewksbury, MA, grew up and was schooled in Lawrence, MA. He was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 42 years, formerly of Methuen, MA.
Mr. Brazil was a Postal Carrier for the town of Pelham, NH. He formerly worked for Ray Lanes Garage in Salem, NH, Chuck’s garage in Salem, NH, and for Pete Johnson. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH. He was a US Marine veteran, serving in the Korean War and was a member of the Salem VFW Memorial Post 8546 in Salem, NH, The DAV in Salem, NH, and the American Legion Post 63 in Salem, NH.
He is survived by his Wife: Barbara A. (Blackburn) Brazil of Salem, NH4 Sons: Richard & his Wife Leslie Brazil of Salem, NH David & his Wife Debra Brazil of Nashua, NH Michael Brazil of Epping, NH Thomas & his Wife Laurianne Brazil of Salem, NH3 Daughters: Freida & her Husband Edward Ceaser of Salem, NH Lea & her Husband Richard Chorley of Methuen, MA Rhonda & her Husband Brant Kurisko of Chester, NH14 Grandchildren2 Nieces
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 10 AM at St. Joseph church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Monday, June 14, 2004 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
