Concetta T. (Picardi) Cambria passed away on November 1, 2012. She was 92 years old.
Born and raised in Boston’s North End, Connie was a longtime resident of Malden.
Connie was the devoted wife of 53 years to the late Salvatore J. Cambria. She was the beloved mother of Marie Lunn and her husband George of Melrose and the late Diane Sarro. Connie was the dear mother-in-law of Edward Sarro of Malden and the dear sister of Elvira Scarano, Palmina Manko and the late Ida Marcantonio, Amelia Picardi and Columbia Picardi. She was the cherished grandmother of Edward Sarro, Russell Lunn and his wife Brandy and the late Christopher Sarro and the great-grandmother of Elizabeth and Michael Lunn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday, November 5th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main Street, Wakefield at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Sunday, November 4th from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
