Mr. Kevin Barker, age 60, died Wednesday afternoon, October 31, 2012, at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House of Reading, surrounded by his loving family, after a lengthy illness. Born in England, Kevin has been a Billerica resident for the last 15 years, formerly of Woburn. Kevin is the loving son of Kathleen (Oxley) Barker of Woburn and the late John Barker.
Kevin came to the United States in 1957 at the age of 5. His family settled in Woburn where he attended St. Charles elementary school and graduated from Woburn High School. He was a proud Teamster and member of Local 25 and Local 170. He retired in 2011 after 29 years of service.
Kevin was the beloved husband of Patricia "Patti" (McNally) Barker. Devoted father of Brian Barker of Billerica. Loving Grandfather of Evan. Devoted son of Kathleen (Oxley) Barker of Woburn and the late John Barker. Brother of Barry Barker of Louisville, KY, Anthony Barker of Freedom, NH, Stephen Barker of Saugus, and Joseph Barker of Robbinsville, NJ.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St. Woburn, Saturday at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8 at the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. WOBURN. Interment will be private.
