William Calvin “Billy” Salter age 56 of Windham, NH, died Sunday at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.
He was born in Lowell, MA, grew up and was educated in Tewksbury, MA. He was a resident of Windham for the past 17 years, formerly of Tyngsboro, MA.
Billy was a Carpenter & Set Dresser in television and the motion picture industry. He was also a self employed carpenter and owned his own siding company for over 20 years. He loved building model airplanes and boats and was a member of the AMA Academy of Model Aviation. He was also a member of IATSE, Local 481. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, and watching movies.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Nov. 2nd from 4-7:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:30 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Cremation will follow.
