Ellen E. Sager
Longtime Tewksbury Resident

TEWKSBURY: Ellen Elizabeth (Hudson) Sager, beloved wife for 49 years of the late Ralph R. Sager, passed away at the Blaire House of Tewksbury on Wednesday, October 31, 2012.
Born in the Wigginsville section of Lowell on July 1, 1920, daughter of the late John and Gertrude Hudson, she spent her entire married and widowed life in Tewksbury, MA.
Ellen was predeceased by her brother George Hudson and her sister Florence Garside.
Prior to her retirement, Ellen worked as the cook at the River Valley House of Lowell.
She had a deep love for her family and enjoyed spending time at the beach in Maine.
Ellen is survived by her two children, David Sager and his spouse Joyce of Wilbraham and Karen White and her partner Jack Hansen of Windham, NH; seven grandchildren, Lauren Hansen and her spouse Timothy of Des Moines, IA, Kimberly Sager-Cutt and her spouse Martha of Easthampton, MA, Alan White and his spouse Dennise of Hampstead, NH, Bethany Sager and her spouse Stefanie Johnson of Framingham, MA, David White and his spouse Jacqueline of Pepperell, MA, Melanie Phillips and her spouse Cliff of Northfield, MA, and Meghan White of Nashua, NH; eight great grandchildren, Abel Phillips, James and Evan Hansen, Gareck and Emily White, Anthony Sager Cutt, and Cameron and Adam White; her sister-in-law, Shirley Hudson of Fredericksburg, VA; her niece and nephew, Marcia and George; and her niece, Eleanor Lamont of Yarmouthport, MA.
Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 2, from 5-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m., in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lowell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellen's memory may be made to the Tewksbury Congregational Church, 10 East St., Tewksbury, MA 01876 or to New England Hospice, 190 Old Derby Rd., # 304, Hingham, MA 02043.
