Patricia A. “Pat” (Julian) Crowley, age 80, of Brockton died Monday October 29, 2012 at her home under the care of her family. She was the devoted wife of the late David J. Crowley. Pat was born in Brockton a daughter of the late John J. and Lena (Verdone) Julian and remained a lifelong resident of the city. A graduate of St. Patrick High School, Pat continued her education at Brockton Business School.
In 2007, Pat retired as a bookkeeper at Dwyer Glass Company after 20 years and previously had worked at City Glass. In her free time Pat enjoyed gardening, reading, puzzles, playing cards and breakfast with her girlfriends. She will be remembered as a hard working, compassionate and giving lady who was devoted to family. She also had a love for her dogs especially Pookie.
Pat was the mother of the late David J. Crowley, Jr. and grandmother of Laurie-Ann Crowley and her husband Brandon Mello of Brockton and David and Michael Crowley both of Houston, Texas. She leaves six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of John J. Julian of Ormond Beach, Florida; Janet Chambers of East Bridgewater and the late Frances Johnson.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday 5-8 pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 am for a Funeral Mass in Christ The King Parish at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery.
