Earl Brown, 71, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died October 30, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, November 3 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Terry Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown was born June 3, 1941 in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late Jeff Brown and Lillian Alene Barfield Brown Mims. Mr. Brown lived in the community most of his life. He was a former plant manager of Modern Fibers in Fitzgerald. Mr. Brown enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking. He attended Faith Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife: Cheryl Brown of Fitzgerald; daughter: Shelly Pridgen of Fitzgerald; sons: Jeremy G. and Christy Brown of Douglasville, Georgia and Scott Brown of Rome, Georgia, Larry and Tina Pridgen of Fitzgerald; seven grandchildren: Chase, Devon, Tamara, Justin, Charlie, Joshua and Brandon; sister: Judith Rinear of Fitzgerald, Connie L. Rabon of Kingsland, Georgia, Christine Medlock of Forrest Park, Georgia and Hazel Dawson of Tennessee.
