Wade Scott Perkins, age 83, of Douglas, GA passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Jeff Davis Hospital in Hazlehurst, GA following an extended illness. Mr. Perkins was born December 20, 1928 to the late Jerome Albert and Agnes Rebecca Pennington Perkins.
Survivors include his wife: Betty Joanne Horne Perkins of Douglas, GA;Two sons: Scott (Regina) Perkins of Broxton, GA; Jerry (Nicole) Perkins of Douglas, GA; One Daughter: Penny (Kent) Henderson of Gainesville, GA;Four Grandchildren: Ellie Perkins, Kayman Alexis Perkins, Alexandria Henderson, Ashlyn Henderson, One Brother; Hunt Perkins, Lexington KY. Was preceeded in death by one brother Jim Perkins.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 6 to 9 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church with interment to be at Douglas City Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Sims Funeral Home.
