Obituary

Lorraine B. (Bedard) Bergeron, 84 of Pelham, NH passed on yesterday at her home. She will join her husband, Peter, and so many of her beautiful family members in Heaven.

She was born in Pelham, NH and was a lifelong resident. She attended a single room schoolhouse through 8th grade then began working as well as starting her family. She attended night classes and graduated from Lawrence High when she was 50.

She was proudly known as “The Avon Lady” for over 50 years. She was a cook for the Sisters of Notre Dame in Lawrence and worked as a data entry operator for Arlington Trust Company. She was a seamstress in her spare time. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Parish and Women’s Guild in Pelham, NH.

Lorraine was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed her family tremendously.

Survived by:2 Sons: James & his wife Debra Bergeron of Pelham; Thomas Bergeron of Hampstead & his fiancée Kelly McDonald of Exeter

5 Daughters: Madeline & her husband Frank Carrier of Pelham; Maureen & her husband Dale Jackson of Boscawen; Denise Bergeron of Pelham; Julie Bergeron of Boscawen; Nadine & her husband John Nutt of Londonderry

5 Sisters: Rena Cayer of Pelham; Jackie & her husband Phil Blanchette of Pelham; Germaine McConnachie of Methuen, MA; Carmen Nical of S. Lawrence, MA; Muriel & her husband Arthur Paradis of Canterbury

4 Brothers: Raymond Bedard of Methuen, MA; Roderick Bedard of Pelham; Arthur Bedard Jr & his wife Theresa of Pelham; Ronald Bedard & his wife Roberta of Pelham

4 Sisters –in-law: Mary Rackliffe of Methuen, MA; Marcelle Baldwin of Methuen, MA; Rose DeLucia of Florida; Jacqueline & her husband Joseph DePonte of Texas

16 Grandchildren: Lisa, Michael, Carleen, Danny, Corina, Gerry, Linda, David, J.K., David, Jessica, Jason, Stephanie, Jonathan, Alexandria and Matthew

10 Great Grandchildren: Sarah, Jason, Jaclyn, David, Angus, Duncan, J.K., Patrick, Allison and Teak

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 1PM at St. Patrick’s Parish in Pelham, NH. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 & 6-9 at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Patricks Parish, 12 Main St., Pelham, NH 03076.
