June A. (Conger) St. Amand, 87, of Worcester, passed away peacefully Friday, October 26th. She leaves her loving husband of 67 years, Francis A. St. Amand; two sons, Ronald F. St. Amand and his wife Marguerite of Brookfield and Mark A. St. Amand and his wife Janice of Worcester; a sister, Ruth Ellis of Worcester; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Danielle. She was predeceased by two brothers, Ross and Albert Conger.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Edmond L. and Beatrice (Williams) Conger and graduated from South High School. Mrs. St. Amand was a bus monitor for the City of Worcester at Mill Swan School, where she also volunteered as an aid for special needs children. She retired in 1990. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, where she was a deacon, usher and chancel guild volunteer who delivered flowers to the sick and home bound.
Mrs. St. Amand volunteered at Hahnemann Health Clinic in the medical records department for many years. At one time, she was a member of the Golden Aces Bowling League of Auburn, and she enjoyed line dancing and square dancing.
The funeral is Wednesday, October 31st with a service at 11:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. There are no calling hours.
