Berry, Geraldine “Jerry”, 80, passed away October 24,2012.
She was the former Geraldine Steenbergen. In 1948, she married Leon Berry, with whom she had one son and one daughter.
Jerry was a proud retiree of Coca-Cola Bottling Company. She enjoyed reading, crafts, cooking for her grandsons, and was an avid University of Kentucky fan, especially Coach Cal. She was a member of Lyons Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Leon; granddaughter, Erin Michelle Krebs; brother John Allen Steenbergen; beloved sister Arthena Weaver.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Krebs, and son Ken Berry, son-in-law, Jon Krebs, three grandsons David Krebs( Katie), Craig and Justin Berry; two great granddaughters, Caroline and Anna Krebs, beloved brother, J.D. Steenbergen (Margaret); nephews, Garry,Larry and David; and special friend, Willa Dean Vincent.
Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Saturday, October 27, at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West
Visitation will be at 9:30 A.M. Saturday until time of the service at the funeral home.
